Mrs Thomas Carr Dies August 30th

Mrs Daisy Dean Sumner Carr died at her home in Cadiz, August 30th. She was born near Donaldson Creek on June 26, 1875. She was united in marriage in 1895 to Thomas J. Carr.

Early in life she professed faith in Christ and joined the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Later she transferred her Membership to Pugh Flat.

Funeral services were held last Thursday, August 31 from the home at 3 p.m. Rev. E.R. Noel officiated. Burial was made at East End Cemetery. Pall bearers were her son in law, Mr. Edison Feltner, Mr. Perkins Carr, Mr. Gilbert Clark, Mr. Bernice Rogers, Mr. Buster Kingins, and Mr. Paul Kingins.

Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Edison Feltner, Mrs. Perkins Carr, Mrs. Gilbert Clark, Mrs. Bernice Rogers, Mrs. Buster Kingins and Mrs. Paul Kingins; a son Pfc Clarence Carr of Greenville, Miss, and husband.
