Obituary - Leo A. Poulton: Leo A. Poulton, 87, of New Matamoras, Ohio, died Tuesday May 17, 1994, at Quality Care Nursing Home in Somerset,Ohio. He was born February 5, 1907 in Belmont, Ohio to the late William Clement and Frances Pekari Poulton. A graduate of Barnesville High School, and a 1929 graduate of Muskingum College, he was a teacher and basketball coach at New Matamoras High School from 1944 to 1963 and at Frontier High School from 1963 to 1973. He was a Catholic by faith and was a member of the Muskingum College Alumni Association. He is survived by three nieces, Janet Parker, Rosemary Poulton and Phyllis Poulton, all of Zanesville. He was preceded in death by his wife Katheryn L. Poulton on March 14, 1993; three brothers, Paul, Joseph, and Charles Poulton, and by a sister, Nellie Poulton. Services were held May 20 at the William Thompson and Son Funeral Home in White Cottage, Ohio, with Father Dionnie officiating. Burial was in Mount Tabor Cemetery, Stafford, Ohio.
