Obituary - Fort Wayne, Indiana - Mildred Hunkler: Mildred L. Hunkler, 82, died July 3, 1996 at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. A native of Barnesville, she was a daughter of the late Bessie and Chris Hodge. She lived for 26 years in Calais, Temperanceville, Barnesville,Wheeling, and Charleston, West Virginia areas and 44 years in Fort Wayne. She worked at Lincoln National Corp.'s cafeteria. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Ed, Hobart and Henry Hodge and a sister, Silvia Shilling. Surviving are her husband, Louis T., two sons, Thomas of FortWayne, and William E., of Gilbert, Arizona; a sister, Francis Corbin of Massillon; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at C.M. Sloan and Sons Funeral Home 1327 N. Wells St. and at Queen of Angles Catholic Church, 1500 W. State Blvd. in Fort Worth. Burial was in the Catholic Cemetery.

Mildred married Louis Theodore HUNKLER, son of Benjamin HUNKLER and Anna Virginia McGUIRE. (Louis Theodore HUNKLER was born in 1914 in Barnesville, Ohio - Belmont County, died on 11 MAY 2002 in Fort Wayne, Indiana - Allen County and was buried on 15 MAY 2002 in Catholic Cemetery - Fort Wayne, Indiana - Allen County.)
