Jacob Simon DRUM Sr.
Moved with his parents to Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania. Served with General St. Clair when they were defeated by the Indians at the Wabash River in the Ohio Territory in 1791. He also served in the War of 1812. Jacob was the first Drum to move to Monroe County in 1818. Jacob married Sarah NOFFSINGER, daughter of Matthias NOFFSINGER and Nancy Ann BRILL, on 30 APR 1807 in Belmont County, Ohio. (Sarah NOFFSINGER was born in SEP 1783 in Frederick County, Maryland, died on 22 NOV 1849 in Perry Twp., Monroe Co., Ohio and was buried in Drum Family Cemetery - Perry Township, Monroe County, Ohio.) Jacob next married Unknown UNKNOWN about 1796 in Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania. |
