Obituary - Barnesville Enterprise: Borton A. Moore, 58, BarnesvillePostmaster, resident of 607 East Main Street, Barnesville, died Saturday,April 21, 1973 at 2:55 a.m. at the Barnesville Hospital. He was born atBarnesville October 12, 1914, a son of the late Luther and Martha BortonMoore. He had been an employee of the Postal Service for 35 years and wasa member of the Church of the Assumption, Barnesville; a member of theHoly Name Society and the Barnesville Elks Lodge. Surviving are his wife,Polly Hunkler Moore of the home; five children, Mrs. Charles (Linda)McLeish of Marrietta; Miss Melissa Moore of Arlington, Va., Dan Moore ofAkron, Mike and Joe of the home; and seven grandchildren. Friends werereceived at Campbell & Plumly Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection wasoffered Monday, April 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at the Assumption Church. Burialwas made in the Assumption Church Cemetery, Barnesville. The Rosary wasrecited Sunday evening at 7 at the funeral home, and the Elk's Lodgeservices were held at 7:45 p.m.
