A monument to Robert and his wife Agnes is still to be seen in the church of Bray, on which is inscribed, "orate pro Animabus Roberti Fowler et Agnetis uxoris ac omnium fidelium defunctorum qui quidem. Robertus Obitt Die Mensis....Anno Dni Millo MCCCC. Quorum Animabus pro propicietur Deus. Amen," and below are figures of 5 sons and 5 daughters. Ashmole's Berkshire, Vol. III. p. 16.
